Annotation

The article highlights the introduction and analysis of a new term in the context of the evolution of modern value systems against the background of a post-secular society. A new concept of “Values of spiritual enlightenment” is proposed. They are defined as a system of Christian values that form traditional value orientations in the process of spiritual, emotional and intellectual transformation of consciousness, as well as personal self-improvement through development taking into account historical traditions, upbringing, education, culture, science, technology, mass media and mass communications. The socio-religious and philosophical aspects of the “Values of Spiritual Enlightenment” are considered, their role in assessing the evolution of key human values under the influence of the technosphere and in the context of a post-secular society is emphasized. The urgency of the problem of transformation of human values in the era of technological progress and liberal challenges affecting traditional foundations, including the institution of the family, is emphasized.
