Annotation

The article examines the relationship between literary- critical articles about Joseph Brodsky by Lev Losev and the poetic creativity of the latter. A hypothesis is put forward about the connection between the main poetological features from Losev articles devoted to the comprehension of his contemporary and friend’s work and. Losev’s lyrical poems are considered in co- and contra- position both with Brodsky’s directly related works and in the metapoetic aspect. The latter implies the identification of those features noted by Losev about Brodsky, which to a greater or lesser extent were realized by him in his own work. The subject of analysis is the Venetian text of both poets, with a common thematic and figurativemotivational series.
