Russian emigration about the philosophy of N. A. Berdyaev: criticism of the monarchist I. L. Solonevich

Annotation

An overview of the ideological heritage of the ideologist of monarchism and publicist, Ivan Lukyanovich Solonevich (1891–1953), dedicated to the work of the most famous Russian philosopher of the 20th century, is given. Nikolai Alexandrovich Berdyaev (1874–1948). Discussions about the role and place of the philosophy of Berdyaev were widespread in the Russian Diaspora. The criticism of Solonevich of the ideological position of Berdyaev on the role of the intelligentsia in the history of Russia. Particular attention is paid to the ideological attacks of the staunch monarchist and ardent anti-communist Solonevich about the philosopher’s Sovietophile position in the late 1930s. — early 1940S. The point of view of Solonevich is compared with the position of the philosopher Ivan Ilyin. Solonevich considered Berdyaev the quintessence of the Russian revolutionary and liberal intelligentsia, and used his name as a common noun. Particular attention is paid to the regular change of socio-political views by the philosopher Berdyaev in the interpretation of Solonevich. Solonevich’s criticism of Berdyaev’s ideas was carried out from the standpoint of his ideology of “people’s monarchy” and “realistic monarchism”. The bias and political bias of is emphasized Solonevich.
