THE SOTERIOLOGICAL CONCEPT OF A “BROADER UNDERSTANDING OF HOPE” IN THE WORKS OF THE SUPPORTERS OF OPEN THEISM
Annotation
The article analyzes the main ideas of open theism in the interpreted by its famous
representatives — K. Pinnock and J. Sanders, and also reveals the features of the inclusive approach they develop, within the framework of which the problem of the possibility of salvation
of the non-evangelized and believers of other religions is considered. Open theologians insist
on the boundless divine love addressed to all humanity, on the universal saving will of God,
which gives rise to the “broader hope” and inclusive theory.
