Annotation

The article presents a review of translations of the Book of Job into Church Slavonic, the texts of which, used in the liturgical practice of the Church up to the present time, date back to the activities of the Equal Apostles Cyril and Methodius, and the language of the protograph and the volume of translations is determined by the Septuagint Book of Job. As well as translations of the Book of Job into Russian, realized mainly with missionary purpose in the period of XIX — early XXI centuries, the source language of which is the Hebrew (Masoretic) text of the Book of Job (except for the translation of P. A. Jungerov), and brief information about each of them is given. The special role of the translation of G. P. Pavsky, whose text served as the basis for other translations of the Book of Job into Russian, is noted.
