В статье рассматривается проблема метафизики войны, обозначенная в русской мысли предшествовавших войн, и источники идей войны с человеческими лицами и без них; выявлено, что именно учение Н. А. Бердяева описывает возможность видеть в войне прежде всего опыт, а не только выживание. Сравниваются интерпретации войны, данные Н. А. Бердяевым и В. В. Бибихиным.

The article examines the problem of the metaphysics of war, as outlined in Russian thought in the previous wars, and the sources of ideas about war with human faces and without them; it is revealed that it is the teaching of N. A. Berdyaev that describes the possibility of seeing war primarily as an experience, not just survival. Interpretations of war given by N. A. Berdyaev and V. V. Bibikhin are compared.
